Description
The Natural History Museum has recently accepted a donation of a small dinosaur, which is being researched by our NHM science colleagues and will be the subject of at least two scientific publications. The donor would like the specimen to be displayed, and a suitable position has been identified in our Earth Galleries building at the site in South Kensington. A design has been worked up to display the specimen in a single high security display case, with stone cladding around the base, integral lighting, and metal plinth details. We are looking for a supplier who can undertake the management, coordination, fabrication, supply and install of a single-showcase dinosaur display. It includes the management of site Health and Safety under the CDM 2015 regulations; it also includes some elements of contractor design, around the fabrication of the showcases, fixings to the floor, and fixing all showcase cladding and lighting. Additional information: The contracting authority considers that this contract may be suitable for economic operators that are small or medium enterprises (SMEs). However, any selection of tenderers will be based solely on the criteria set out for the procurement.
