Description

NHSE seeks to procure the provision of an on-line 10-week university-based programme of training for those midwives and nurses working in maternity and neonatal services to train as Professional midwifery Advocate and Professional Nurse Advocate. This would be for up to 150 training places at a cost of £1000 per head, it is to be taught and assessed at Masters level (level 7 equivalent).

This will be a one stage open procurement procedure under LTR (Below threshold).

The intention is to award contracts to multiple providers. There are five cohorts of 30 learners available, suppliers may bid for a maximum of two cohorts.

Cohorts will be awarded based on supplier ranking, with suppliers awarded their requested number of cohorts until all five have been awarded. For the avoidance of doubt, should the remaining number of cohorts be unviable for the supplier that is approached, NHS England will award to the next supplier (based on ranking) that can deliver.

The maximum price per learner is £1,000.00

The total value of contracts shall not exceed the available budget of £150,000.00

The contract period will be 5 months .

The deadline for submission of completed ITT submissions is 28th November at 12:00pm (midday).

Late submissions will not be accepted therefore, please submit in good time prior to the deadline date and time. All communications should be made via the messaging function on the e-Tendering portal during the tender exercise.

The Contracting Authority requests that all communications are channelled through the e-portal system and not with the Contracting Authority itself other than as expressly permitted within this ITT.

Invest NI’s Graduate to Export Development Programme (G2E Programme) launched in February 2019, and targets SMEs in Northern Ireland to help expand their business internationally with the assistance of a supported graduate.  As part of the programme, participating companies will develop their international business capabilities, gained from having a dedicated market research resource and on completion of the graduate intervention, they will have an export development / market entry plan for their chosen market.  The Programme, in turn, will provide graduates with a valuable opportunity to gain practical experience and business skills in international business development in addition to obtain academic qualifications.   Invest NI is seeking to engage a Contractor for the development, delivery, and management of future G2E cohorts with an anticipated launch date of March/April 2025.  The Contractor shall design and deliver a Post Graduate Diploma for participating graduates which will have a commercial focus and a meaningful accreditation focusing on global best practice in international business development.    The Contractor shall also work with the participating companies to assist them develop / refine their market research projects and oversee their execution by the programme graduates.  The completion of these projects by the graduates should be a prerequisite of academic accreditation.  The G2E Programme will comprise of up to 3 cohorts of 201 graduates per cohort all of whom are employed by Invest NI client companies (primarily SME’s).  It is anticipated that the contract will be for an initial period of 5 years with each cohort lasting 18 months. Invest NI reserve the option to extend the contract for a further period of 12 months. Each cohort is subject to budgetary approval and to satisfactory Contractor performance.
